Message thingy [Solved]
« on: May 14, 2014, 01:40:53 PM »
It might just be me.

But that message pop up thingy stop working for me. I use chrome. I get the pop up saying "new message, click here to go to your inbox", click it and nothing happens. It used to work, it doesn't now, it basically just does nothing.

It's never worked on my iphone but no dramas there.

Have you recently installed anything? updated your browser? I have a strong feeling this is one of those pop-up blockers

Possibly, although I've not installed anything that I'm aware of and it did work at one point from my work computer. I dunno, I guess it's not a big deal, just thought I'd point it out.

The messaging opens a new window when u click ok (at least, it should) I think you have some sort of pop-up blocker running in the background somewhere. Could you check Google Chrome settings to see if there's anything there blocking it?

I haven't updated my chrome at all nor added any plugins, I really can't think of anything except it just woke up one morning and stopped working. I mean, the notification shows but the redirect ok button doesn't do anything except close the notification.

It really isn't a drama :) It could possibly be a change my work network has made that I am not aware of

Try to look in your settings for any pop-up blocking that Chrome may have updated/installed in the background, maybe put hellion.net.nz under an exception and try again?

if you have any other browsers, see if those work.

I would also appreciate if anyone else using Chrome could comment on this.

It works for me aswell.

Do you happen to use ad block, ghostery or anything else?
